Non-contact IC card, also known as radio frequency card, composed of IC chip and sensors antenna, packaged in a standard PVC card, the chip and the antenna has no any exposed parts. It is a new technology developed recently in the world, it successfully integrated radio frequency identification technology and IC card technology together, solved the difficulties that are no power in card and non-contact, it is a major breakthrough in the field of electronic device. Cards, in a certain distance (typically 5-10mm), close to the surface of the reader, read and write operations are completed by the data transmission of radio waves.
1.The radio waves perform read and write operations between non-contact IC card and reader. The frequency of communication is 13.56MHZ. Non-contact IC card itself is a passive card, when reading and writing, the reader signals composed by the superposition of two parts: one is the power signal. the signal is received by the card and generate moment energy with its own L/C to supply the chip to work. The other part is the command and data signals, command the chip to complete the data reading, modifying, storing etc, and returns the signal to the reader to complete a read-and-write operation. Readers are generally from the microcontroller, dedicated Smart module and antenna, and concerted with PC by communication interface, printer port, I / O port, in order to be applied to different areas.
2.Non-contact smart card internal partition
Non-contact smart card inside is divided into two parts: the system area (CDF) and user area (ADF)
System area: used by the card manufacturers and system developers and card issuers.
User area: used to store data about the cardholder.
3.Compared to contact IC card, non-contact card has the following advantages:
⑴ high reliability: non-contact IC card has no mechanical contact with the reader and avoid various failures because of contacting the reader. For example:
brutally inserting card, foreign objects inserting, dust or oil led to failures caused by poor contact. In addition |
