Introductions of magnetic card

Magnetic card is a magnetic recording media card. It is made of high-strength, high temperature resistant plastic or paper coated plastic.Generally, one side of the card is printed with instruction information as tips, such as card inserting direction; the other side has magnetosphere or magnetic stripe with a 2-3 tracks to record information.

Magnetic strip consist of a thin layer of iron oxide particles orientedly arranged,bonded together closely on non-magnetic media of paper or plastic substrates by resin adhesive.It can be used to record letters, characters and digital information. Magnetic strip can be divided into three separate tracks, known as TK1, TK2, TK3.

Magnetic card reader is acquisition equipment of magnetic card application system, which can quickly and accurately capture the data denoted by magnetic card and send them to computer for processing.

Computer is used to store and process data in a magnetic card application system.
